My note: The pseudo-Christian cult of Jehovah’s Witnesses believes and teaches things that obviously contradict the Bible, things that one could believe only if they butcher Scripture and reinterpret texts to appear to support the cult’s teaching.
Just looking at the short list of 30 things JWs believe it’s obvious you can’t call their beliefs as those conforming to orthodox Christianity.
You’d have to be intentionally dishonest to claim that JWs believe basically the same thing Protestant Christians do, because they really don’t.
Don’t let them fool you into believing their main teachings for they contradict the Bible and the fundamental Christian doctrines.
Psalm 80: 3, 7, 19
(A thrice-repeated verse with a slight addition with each repeating of the verse.
They are addressing God; not merely God but the God of hosts; not merely the God of hosts but the Lord God of hosts; with each addition it becomes more specific and descriptive of the God they’re addressing. Seems like a very basic observation but each additional word(s) (of hosts; Lord) is a title of God that reveals something about Him and what it means in the context of the psalm, the relation and implications of the usage of that word/title of God. It could be easy to overlook, miss, skip but to pause for a moment and read with intent of understanding usage, context and implications, that shall benefit us much more than merely reading routinely or hurriedly.)
“3) Turn us again, O God, and cause Thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
7) Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause Thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
19) Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts; cause Thy face to shine, and we shall be saved!“
