God calls us …

“God calls us into the joys of eternal life. He calls us into the purity of life and Spirit, so that we may walk with Him. He calls us into a life of service that brings glory to Himself. He calls us into the fellowship of the family of God and into a more abundant Christian life than we have ever known. Let us put away our doubts and trust God on this journey of faith.”

  1. We struggle with trusting because, well, it’s natural, we’re still in our present bodies and all the imperfections and deficiencies that come with it. Apostle Paul was very aware of the struggle taking place in each of us, the struggle of flesh against spirit, trust against doubt, pride against humility, hate against love; struggles against temptations, enemy attacks, and other things that we will encounter and experience and fight until the day we die.
We must daily die to ourselves, and daily be made alive to Christ; He’s our Sustainer, Healer, Master, Lord, Friend, Great Physician, sole source of strength, our very life and breath, our all in all, the one we must daily fix our eyes on, the one who can help us in our infirmities, He can help us obey, trust, grow, love, help, and do all we can’t without Him and His grace and love. He’s the unchanging one when our circumstances change, when doubts come and feeling change, when friends leave and we may feel all alone, He’s the one who’ll never leave of forsake us. He’s the one we need to turn to for all things, we have not the strength to get through everything that comes our way. To God be all the glory!
