When Christ is at the controls …

“When Christ is at the controls, He saves us from spending our lives on trivia. He guarantess that they will be of eternal consequence. We may not realize it at the time, but it’s true nonetheless.
One of the pains of living is to see people who were made in the image of God wasting their time on trivial pursuits. It is especially sad to see Christians prostituting their strength and talents on something that doesn’t matter.”

-from p.155 of “My Heart, My Life, My All” by William MacDonald.
