The mercies of God require …

“The mercies of God require that believers should present themselves as a continual offering to Him. The offering, of course, must be holy; otherwise it would not be pleasing to Him. Total commitment is the most reasonable response that Christians can make to the Saviour’s sacrifice. It is also the most appropriate act of worship. For the offering of believers to be acceptable, they must avoid being molded by the world. Rather they must adopt a godly mind-set and lifestyle.
It stands to reason that if we put the Lord in control, our life will be the best that divine wisdom can plan. We will have a life that is good for us, pleasing to God, and ideal in every respect.”
